Society of Manufacturing Engineers

A chapter of this international organization was established at RMU in the Fall of 2000. The purpose of this organization is to promote professionalism and manufacturing by giving students the opportunity to experience hands-on activities in the field of manufacturing. The Society provides an opportunity for students to network with potential employers, compete in regional and national contests, tour production facilities, and attend presentations pertaining to cutting edge technology.
