Constitution Day 2016 Celebration

Join fellow students, facutly and staff at Robert Morris University's "Tribute to the Greatest Generation"
to be held on Friday, September, 16th, 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Rogal Chapel. A panel of RMU and community members will be sharing about their family members' experiences serving in the military during WWII. Panelists will include: Dr. Mary Ann Rafoth, Dean of the School of Education and Social Sciences whose father was in the D-Day invasion; Dr. Larry Tomei, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs whose four uncles, all brothers, served in the War; Mr. Joe Smydo, reporter for the Post Gazette who has written about The Greatest Generation; and community member Rick Terhanko who will speak about his dad's experiences in the war. Dr. John McCarthy, Professor of History, will serve as moderator. This promises to be an informative and inspiring panel. Members of the RMU Band will provide a selection of patriotic music outside of the Chapel beginning at 11:15 a.m. A voter registration drive will take place immediately prior to the event, as well. Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the program. Mark your calendar and plan to join us!
