Monroe Residence Hall
Monroe Residence Hall – is named after James Monroe, the 5th President of the United States, serving two terms from 1817 to 1825. Monroe is most noted for his proclamation in 1823 of the Monroe Doctrine, which stated that the United States would not tolerate further European intervention in the Americas.
