Little Sibling's Weekend 2014
What is Little Sibling's Weekend?
Little Sibling's weekend is an activity-filled weekend event sponsored by the Residence Hall Association in conjunction with the Office of Residence Life. Robert Morris students can host up to two brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, or cousins (ages 8-16 years). Little sibling must be a blood relative of their host. Guests arrive on campus Friday evening, February 21st or Saturday morning, February 22nd and stay until Sunday afternoon, February 23rd. Transportation to campus is not provided. A $20.00 per child pre-registration fee is all that is required to participate in the weekend's events.
What types of activities are planned?
The Residence Hall Association plans several events for the weekend. Little Siblings are given a schedule and an identification name tag or wristband which allows them to participate in any activity they choose. This year's events include: Pizza Planet Arcade, Trivia Games, Ice Skating, Pixar video games, board games, the Men and Women's Basketball Games, Men and Women’s Hockey and Men’s Lacrosse.
Why fill out the attached forms?
Forms have been sent home to complete and return with your payment (check or cash) . Below are copies of all of the forms, if needed. Once the forms are completed and returned, with your payment, your child(ren) will be registered for the weekend.
If the Registration Form is not completed by the February 12th, in-person registration is required on Friday, February 21st, 2013 between 4:00-7:00 p.m. or Saturday, February 22nd, 2013 between 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Nicholson Food Court. The in-person registration is $25.00 per child. Please accompany your child through the registration process as we want to ensure all forms are complete. T-shirts may not be available for late registrants or at in-person registration. Please notify us if you are planning on registering late by emailing Liz Holt at email@example.com by February 12th.
An addition, for this year, we will need your RMU student to complete a Little Siblings Weekend Overnight Form. This form requires your RMU student to register their guest, agree to uphold the code of conduct and gain permission from all roommates that their sibling is welcome to stay for the weekend. These forms are available below and must be returned to the Office of Residence Life in Washington Hall.
Please Note: ALL forms MUST be completed and returned, otherwise your child will not be able to participate in activities at Little Siblings Weekend.
