MULTICULTURAL COMPETENCY & EDUCATION PROGRAM
Multicultural Competency & Education Program
The Multicultural Competency & Education Certificate Program equips students with the awareness, knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to navigate interpersonal interactions in an ever-changing diverse society and to be effective agents of change in their occupational fields, communities, and families.
Requirements
- Successfully complete the Multicultural Competency & Education Summit (Must be completed first)
- Be active in at least one multicultural student organization for a minimum of two consecutive semesters
- Attend four Diversity Speaker Series presentations
- Compose a five-page essay on your experiences throughout the program
- Participate in an exit interview and focus group
