Ambassador of Equality Program
The Ambassador of Equality is an award program that gives
students the necessary tools to aid the Office of Multicultural Student
Services in creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusion on the
campus. Earning the Ambassador of Equality distinction demonstrates a person’s
want, willingness and dedication to make the Robert Morris University community
You become and Ambassador of Equality, which
satisfies, in part, the Student Engagement Transcript’s Global Diversity
It is a great way to get involved on campus.
It looks great on your resume.
You have participated in workshops and trainings that will make you a leader in the world.
There are four requirements necessary to complete the
Ambassador of Equality.
Attend any two multicultural presentations or
programs approved by the Office of Multicultural Student Services over the
course of two successive semesters.
Programs may include but are not limited to:
Diversity Speaker Series
Black History Month Events
Women’s History Month Events
De La Gente
Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
Safe Zone Training
2. Complete Diversity 101 and 102 trainings.
Serve as and active member in any multicultural
Complete an education component to demonstrate
your competency of multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion. These components may be the following:
Writing or presenting research
Creating and implementing a program around an
issue concerning multiculturalism
Hosting an event
Participating in a service trip
