Ky'Jahna Gerard '18

My name Ky’Jahna Gerard.  I am from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.  I am a nineteen year old sophomore majoring in Cyber Forensics and Information Security.  I’ll be living in Yorktown this semester. I am the president of our diversity organization Carpe Mundum, a member of Residence Hall Association, Black Student Union, and RMU Dance Team and part of the University honors program.  I enjoy reading, dancing, and playing the steel pan (a Caribbean instrument).  Some words I word would use to describe myself are hardworking, determined and sincere.  My future aspirations include becoming an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force.

Phil Kemp '18

I am a marketing major.  I like to play football and baseball.  I am funny and love to be interactive with everyone that I meet. I am looking forward to this year and meeting new people.

Emily Engle-Young '17
My name is Emily and I am from Waynesburg, PA / Michigan. I will be finishing my last year at RMU in the bachelors nursing program. I hope to become a pediatric nurse after college, but who knows! Currently, I work at a nursing home as a nurse aid and at the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe across from campus. I am pretty active with RMU. Aside from being an ESP leader, I am a walk on member of the Women's Rowing team and current captain (Heads up: I may try to recruit you). I attend an on campus ministry group called Athletes in Actions. Also, I am involved in the Nonprofit Leadership Association; past Secretary and President. My favorite way to spend my free time is sleeping, but I also enjoy working out, eating, and watching SNL videos. This will be my second year as an ESP leader. I am very excited to meet all the incoming freshman and to be a part of their first experiences at college. I can't wait to see what this year holds.

Terri Harris '19
Hello, my name is Terri Harris and I am from Maryland. I am currently a sophomore political science major at RMU, and was an ESP student last year. I am looking forward to working as an ESP Leader this year!

Rhianna Slagle '19
Hello, my name is Rhianna. I am from New Castle, PA, and went to Shenango High School. This upcoming year I will be a sophomore Computer Information Systems major. I am a member of the RMU Dance Team and currently the Secretary of Voci Italiano. This summer I worked at Wesbury United Methodist Community helping in the IT Department. I am super excited to be an ESP Mentor and I am happy to meet all the new incoming freshmen.

Brandi McHugh '18
My name is Brandi and I am a Junior here at Robert Morris. My major is Accounting with a minor in IT. I am a commuter student but that does not stop be from being pretty active on campus. I am an ESP leader, a Work Study in the Center for Student Success, and an office of the Outdoor Adventure Club. I really enjoy being around people and helping out. I am very outgoing, so if you see me in the gym, in class, or hiding near the rotunda doing homework, don't be afraid to say, "hi". I am really excited to be a part of the Early Success Program this year, and to meet new people.
