Position Description:

Qualifications
- Be in good judicial standing with the University
- Submit completed ESP Leader application by January 20, 2017
- Submit resume to the Center for Student Success, c/o Lauren Speerhas
- Submit one recommendation form - send this link to an RMU faculty or staff member (outside of the Center for Student Success): https://goo.gl/forms/MfIr7ZcbGFDaf5X83
- Complete interview with the Center for Student Success
- Knowledge of the ESP program

Objectives
- Be present throughout ESP orientation week (August 18-23, 2017)
- Support incoming Early Success Program students in their academic, personal, and social adjustment to college
- Exhibit role model behavior at all times
- Encourage ESP students to become involved in the RMU community
- Identify students who are exhibiting signs of poor adjustment, i.e. stress, anxiety, depression, homesickness, etc.
- Connect with professional staff members

Responsibilities
- Attend a one-day training session
- Help with ESP move-in
- Attend and participate through all of ESP orientation week 

Compensation
- Earn stipend once all required hours and responsibilities are fulfilled
