To Enter our Intramural Trick Shot Contest:
  • Tag us @RMUCampusRec on Instagram and Twitter and Use the Hashtag #RMUTrickShot 
  • You may also post your shot to our Facebook page at RMU Campus Recreation.
  • Winners will be voted upon by both our campus recreation staff will be awarded with intramural championship t-shirts.
  • There will be two categories of winners and we will be posting some of the best we receive on in upcoming Instagram stories.


Submissions will be accepted on an ongoing basis.  Top videos will be recognized via our RMUCampusRec social media accounts.

There will be two categories for this competition:

  1. Basketball Trick Shot Category
    (must be done on a regulation basketball hoop of 10')
  2. Miscellaneous Trick Shot Category
    (use your imagination here…indoor golf putting/chipping, soccer shots, indoor over-the-door basketball hoop, ping-pong balls, socks in the laundry basket etc)

Competition Rules:

  1. All current students and Rec Center members are eligible for this competition.
  2. Be safe! Practice social distancing, protect yourself and others.  Here are the CDC Guidelines on how to protect yourself from COVID-19.
  3. In each video, someone needs to visibly give a "two thumbs up" to the camera (either to start or finish each video) or verbally say "two thumbs up" to indicate that this video is specifically for this competition.  Without the "two thumbs up" component the video will not qualify.
  4. Each contest participant can post a maximum of two videos in total.  This can be two videos for one category, or one video for each category.

You can absolutely complete this solo and even in the comfort of your own home.  We are not encouraging you to physically socialize in this process and do anything you're not comfortable doing. Please follow local and CDC guidelines and exercise caution.
